3. Court Hearing:  The tenant has the opportunity to respond to the eviction lawsuit by filing an answer with the court and appearing at the scheduled court hearing. At the hearing, both parties have the opportunity to present evidence and arguments before a judge, who will determine whether the eviction is justified based on the evidence presented.
4. Judgment and Writ of Possession: If the judge rules in favor of the landlord, a judgment for possession of the property is issued, granting the landlord the legal right to evict the tenant. The court may also issue a writ of possession, authorizing law enforcement officers to remove the tenant from the property if they fail to vacate voluntarily.
5. Enforcement of Eviction: Once the judgment for possession and writ of possession are obtained, law enforcement officers execute the eviction by physically removing the tenant and their belongings from the property. The landlord may change the locks or take other actions to regain possession of the property.
